Here is a photo of Dr. Houston Davis with his Mexico buck that taped out at 97". Houston was part of our group that hunted Sonora last week. He saw and passed some good bucks looking for a big one. He was savvy enough to realize that the impending weather would hamper the hunting and decided to take this buck the fourth morning of the hunt. It had already rained some that morning and came in heavy that night, putting an end to the hunt. I should have followed suit, as I came home empty handed not being able to hunt the last two days due to weather.
